Simple Car
This challenge had two parts:
- Build a robot that’s capable of moving forward, backward, or turning, using as few pieces as possible. Connector pins and cable management clips aren’t included. (The record is currently six pieces!)
- Program your robot to trace out the letter ‘D’ (and for a stretch goal, the letter ‘R’)
We also had a discussion about different kinds of turn – which we called “turn on the spot”, “one-wheel turns”, and “two-wheel turns” – and how to do these in the SPIKE software.
