Simple Car

This challenge had two parts:

  1. Build a robot that’s capable of moving forward, backward, or turning, using as few pieces as possible. Connector pins and cable management clips aren’t included. (The record is currently six pieces!)
  2. Program your robot to trace out the letter ‘D’ (and for a stretch goal, the letter ‘R’)

We also had a discussion about different kinds of turn – which we called “turn on the spot”, “one-wheel turns”, and “two-wheel turns” – and how to do these in the SPIKE software.
